Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a tweet stated that Europeans' violations of their own obligations in Iran nuclear deal, otherwise known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), is regrettable.

Iran Press/Asia: Iran's top diplomat in his tweet said: "E3's response to the US attack on JCPOA has been to cut trade/investment in Iran while embargoing our oil,"

He added, "Told #Raisina2020 it's sad that biggest economy has allowed itself to be bullied into violating own obligations."

"JCPOA's future depends on E3, not Iran," he reiterated.

In another tweet, Iran's chief diplomat, Mohammad Javad Zarif said, Iran did not sign an 'Obama deal' now to go for a 'Trump deal'.

The UK prime minister Boris Johnson has sided with Donald Trump in calling the 2015 nuclear agreement with Iran a “bad deal” while praising the US president as a “very brilliant negotiator” capable of achieving a better one.

We did not sign an "Obama deal" to go for a "Trump deal" now, Zarif said.

Iran's FM on his page on Twitter wrote, Told #Raisina2020 that Iran believes in diplomacy: but not in re-negotiating a UNSC Resolution we agreed on with 6 Governments & EU.

"We did not sign an "Obama deal" to go for a "Trump deal" now. Even if we did, who's to say we won't need Biden, Sanders or Warren deal next year?" Zarif added.

Earlier in a message, Zarif said that the UK is parroting the US line, adding that they cannot save the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) by appeasing the bully.

"E3 can save JCPOA but not by appeasing the bully & pressuring the complying party. Rather it should muster the courage to fulfill its own obligations," he added.
