Spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Ramezan Sharif

A spokesman for the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said two US military bases in Iraq have been targeted by the IRGC.

Iran Press/Iran news: Ramezan Sharif said after the burial procession of Martyred Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani at the Kerman Martyrs' Cemetery: "The same hour that the United States assassinated the Lieutenant General Soleimani at 1:20 am on Wednesday a US base in western Iraq was targeted and their second base in Erbil (in northern Iraq) was simultaneously attacked."

The spokesman for IRGC said that "The Americans desperately held an emergency meeting. First, they announced Donald Trump was giving a speech, and moments later they said the speech was canceled and he definitely received the message."

In a statement released in the early hours of Wednesday morning, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed that a US airbase in western Iraq has been hit with 'tens of missiles'.

The attack came in response to a US terrorist drone strike days earlier that martyred Iranian late Commander of Qods Force of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani.

An informed military source has told Iran Press that an Iranian missile strike on a US airbase in western Iraq in the early hours of Wednesday morning has resulted in heavy losses for the US military, both in terms of personnel and equipment.

The source added that they are very closely watching the military movements of the Americans after the missile strike. 101/211/205
