Oman's Foreign Minister in a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister expressed his condolences to Iran's government and nation over the martyrdom of the commander of the Quds Force of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani.

Iran Press/Middle East: During a telephone conversation on Saturday, the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Omani counterpart, Yusuf bin Alawi, discussed the latest regional developments in the wake of the assassination of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani.

Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were assassinated in an airstrike on the Baghdad International Airport in Iraq at the order of US President, Donald Trump.
