The Head of Iran's crisis management organization Ismail Najar in a one day trip to Khuzestan province on Sunday visited the flooded areas.

Iran Press/Iran news: The Head of Iran's crisis management organization Ismail Najar took a one day trip to Khuzestan province South-Western Iran to visit flooded areas due to recent heavy rainfalls.

Najar at first entered Ahwaz and then on Sunday evening visited the flooded areas in the Southern cities of Abadan and Khorramshahr.

Iran's top crisis official stressed the continuation of helping procedure and reaching out to those affected by the flood saying the public relief to solve the crisis is worthy of high praise.

The residential areas of some of the cities in Khuzestan province including Ahwaz were flooded due to the recent heavy rains and the people in charge are doing their best to solve the crisis In the last few days, heavy torrential downpours have caused flooding in at least 9 Iranian provinces, mostly in central and western Iran.104/204
