Iran's First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said on Sunday that Iran knows no limit for boosting cooperation with Oman, and the bilateral ties with Oman can serve as the role model for other regional states.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Jahangiri said on Sunday that Expanding cooperation and ties between Iran and Oman is to the benefit of the Muslim world as well as the Countries of the region.

Speaking at the meeting with Minister of Commerce and Industry in Oman, Ali bin Masoud al Sunaidi on Sunday while declaring Iran's readiness to boost the bilateral and multilateral relationships, Jahangiri highlighted that Iran is interested to have the highest volumes of the business exchanges with Oman among the states of the Persian Gulf,  Iran Press reported.

Iran's First Vice President while referring to removal of the Iran's visa issuance for the Omani nationals as well as the ease of visa issuance for the Iranian nationals along with the direct flight between the two countries stressed on the fact that such measures together with boosting cooperation in the fields of transit, transportation, and shipping, can help improve the volume of the mutual business exchanges.

While expressing happiness over the existing facilities for the clean and religious tourism in Iran, Omani Minister also said that the economic and business ties of the two sides need a great leap.

The 18th Joint Iran-Oman Economic Cooperation Commission was held at the international permanent fairground in Tehran on Saturday morning.

Iran's Industry, Mine and Trade Minister, Reza Rahmani and Oman's Minister of Industry, Ali bin Masoud al Sunaidy, were present in the meeting, and the two ministers were accompanied by high-ranking officials.

Iran and Oman signed three memorandums of understanding on standards, sports, and marine transportation.

The head of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Abdul Nasser Hemmati also met with Oman's Minister of Commerce and Industry discussed supporting the traders of the two countries to facilitate resource transfers, banking, money transaction mechanisms.205
