Iran Press/Iran news: An Iranian parliamentary delegation headed by the Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Mojtaba Zonnour met the Speaker of the People's Council of Syria Hammouda Sabbagh in Damascus on Tuesday.
The Iranian delegation arrived at the Syrian capital on Tuesday morning and is set to meet the Syrian Prime Minister Imad Khamis, the members of the People's Council of Syria's Arab and Foreign Affairs Committee and the Syrian National Security Committee members on Wednesday.
Strategic relations between Tehran and Damascus have witnessed a remarkable growth in various fields in recent years.
