Pakistani Shiites gathering to support Islamic government (Velayat)

Pakistani Shiites in a gathering declared their support and allegiance to Velayat-e-Faqih (Islamic Government) and oppressed Muslim nations across the world.

Iran Press/ Asia: Shiites in Pakistan held a gathering to support Velayat-e- Faqih (Islamic Government) and oppressed Muslim nations, and declare their solidarity to fight anti-Islamic conspiracies of global arrogance.

According to Iran Press, the gathering was held on Sunday in Lahore, the center of Panjab province.

The gathering was organized by the 'Tehreek-e-Baidari-e-Ummat e Mustafa (Islamic Awakening Movement) headed by Seyed Javad Naghavi, and many of Shia political and religious activists from all over Pakistan and officials from other Shia religious schools were attended.

"Velayat is the common point of all Muslims and the Islamic nations should take a joint and firm step in the path of unity and empathy," Naghavi said in a speech in the gathering.

Pointing to approaching the month of Moharram, he emphasized the promotion of Imam Hossein's uprising and said: "Ashura and Imam Hossein's uprising teaches us the resistance toward arrogant powers."

Condemning the participation of some Arabs in the region for their partnership with Western powers in action against the oppressed Muslim nations of the region, Naghavi reiterated that the unity of the Muslims will foil all conspiracies of the enemies.
