Tehran (IP) - Iran's vice president for Women and Family Affairs said that Iran's diversity in ethnic groups creates a lot of attention for tourists and for those who love to learn more about Iran and its beautiful heritage, culture and nature.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Iran's vice president for Women and Family Affairs, Masoumeh Ebtekar, on the sidelines of the fourth exhibition of villagers and nomadic capabilities in Tehran's International Permanent Fairground, said: "In this great exhibition, the products of both villagers and nomads have been put on display. Now, we have a national plan to support and boost developments in our villages and nomad areas."

Ebtekar continued: "This plan includes the improvement of villagers training for their different skills which could enable them in terms of handicrafts, ecotourism and different activities that they could do in their villages to empower them and create job opportunities and also funds, which enables them to set up their own businesses."

"Forty percent of those funds have been allocated to women," the official noted.

"Iran is a very diverse country, so we have many ethnic groups, each one has their own culture, costume, and customs so this diversity creates a lot of attention for tourists and for those who love to learn more about Iran and its beautiful heritage, culture, and nature," added Ebtekar.
