Iran Press/ West Asia: The ceremony was held with the presence of the representative of Iran's Leader in Syria; the Syrian and Palestinian people and Ulama (religious scholars) and other political and military officials participated in the ceremony to express condolences over the martyrdom of General Razi Mousavi.
General Razi Mousavi, a senior adviser in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC), was martyred on Monday during an Israeli air strike on Damascus, Syria.
He had close ties to former top Revolutionary Guard Lt. Gen. General Qassem Soleimani and was responsible for supporting the resistance front in Syria. General Soleimani was assassinated in a US drone strike in Baghdad, Iraq, in 2020.
