Tehran (IP) - Iran's Constitutional Council Spokesman announced that the second round of Parliamentary elections is going to be held entirely electronically.

Iran PressIran news: Attending his presser on May 5, 2024, Hadi Tahan-Nazif in response to a question raised by the IP correspondent, said that the upcoming parliamentary elections will be held to determine the assignment of the remaining 45  seats in 15 provinces; In 8 constituencies where more than two candidates were not appointed (Tabriz, Ray, Abadan, Shiraz, Kermanshah, Khorramabad, Qaimshahr and Malair) the elections will be held entirely electronically this Friday.

He further reiterated: The registration of candidates begins today.
