Ali Akbar Rashad, head of the Institute of Culture and Thought, announced the expansion of the Resistance Front beyond religious borders, stating that many nations are standing in support of Iran.

The big picture:

The statements were made at the "National Conference on Divine Religions and the Aggressaion of Zionism and the West on Iran” in Tehran. The conference itself comes after the Israeli-U.S. attack on Iran that took long 12 days.

  • The conference featured representatives from various religions, including Jews, Zoroastrians, Armenians, Assyrians, as well as Shia and Sunni Muslims.

Why it matters:

The conference showed that supporting the resistance is no longer just an Islamic issue; it has developed into a trans-religious platform for unity against hegemony.

What he's saying:

Ayatollah Ali-Akbar Rashad stated that the Resistance Front in Iran successfully thwarted an all-out hybrid war just days after the attack by the Zionist regime, thanks to the efforts of its commanders and scientists.

Ayatollah Rashad: "The enemy had expected that the Iranian people would turn against the government; however, they soon realized that the proud Iranian nation, with its rich history spanning several millennia, has defended its identity and stood firm against the aggressor."

Key points:

  • A trans-religious resistance front has been formed with support from more than 16 countries backing Iran.

  • The ceasefire, which followed 12 days of conflict, has solidified Iran's gains.

  • People like Trump and Netanyahu are cited as examples of warlords and corrupt leaders.

  • There is strong criticism regarding the silence of international institutions in response to the civilian casualties in Gaza.
