Iran Press/ Iran news: On March 1, 2024, the Iranian people went to the ballot boxes to elect their representatives in the Parliament and Assembly of Experts.
The upcoming parliament to be formed is the 12th one in the Islamic Republic's history after the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
Iran's Minister of Interior, in a presser, stated: "The glorious elections on March 1, 2024, on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan, was a divine feast for the noble and faithful people of Islamic Iran."
He continued: "The noble people of Iran once again shined on this stage and won another great victory."
The Minister of Interior added: "Despite the propaganda of global arrogance to keep our people away from participating in the elections of the Iranian Parliament and Assembly of Experts, the Iranians made a glorious presence in the recent elections."
Vahidi stated: "It is natural that the enemy used all his tools to create despair, but the people made an epic presence despite the economic difficulties."
