Tehran (IP) - As the process of polling for the 12th Iranian parliamentary elections officially finished on Friday, the results show that the capital must go to the run-off.

Iran PressIran news: Fifteen Tehrani candidates managed to take their seats in the parliament in the first stage, and the rest of the candidates must compete with each other for the remaining 15 seats. 

More than 3,800 candidates competed for 30 parliamentary seats in Tehran on Friday.

On Friday, March 1, 2024, people across Iran came to the polls for the 12th round of parliamentary elections and the sixth round of the Assembly of Experts.
