China has said the United States has no right to demand ‘snapback’ of UN sanctions against Iran.

Iran PressAsia: Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said the United States did not "have the necessary authority to request sanctions" as the US administration withdrew from Iran Nuclear deal 2015 known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

"We have repeatedly said that the US has already withdrawn from the JCPOA and therefore has no right to request the restoration of the UN sanctions regime against Iran", Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said at a briefing.
