On the eve of the anniversary of the demise of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a well-known Russian writer and poet published her poems about Imam Khomeini in Russian.

Iran Press/Asia: Lyudmila Avdeeva, the wife of a former Soviet diplomat in Tehran, has depicted the events of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran in the form of a collection of poems in Russian.

She is now one of the most famous Russian Iranologists and has published eight books of poetry about Iran, which have attracted the attention of Russian enthusiasts.

One of her poetry books is about the role and high position of Imam Khomeini in Iran and the world, as well as the wise leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
