Tehran (IP) - The Australian Ambassador to Tehran paid an official visit to Iran's Stock Exchange in Tehran saying that her country of origin is very interested in developing trade with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: At the ceremony which was held at stock exchange building on Sunday, the symbolic bell of the stock exchange transactions was rung by the Australian Ambassador to Tehran "Lindal Sachs", in the presence of the CEO of the Stock Exchange of Iran "Ali Sahraei", and a group of reporters.

The Australian Ambassador to Tehran answering to Iran Press question about the level of cooperation between Iran and Australia said: "Australia is very keen on developing relationships with many countries around the world and we look at ways to continue trade relationships with Iran."

The top diplomat added that we have cooperation in pharmaceutical, healthcare, mining, and agriculture as well.

Australian Trade Develop Organization is looking at ways that we can develop cooperation between Australian and Iranian businesses, Sachs concluded.
