Iran's Interior Minister said that as long as the nation relies on religious teachings, sanctions would not break their unity.

Iran Press/Iran news: The enemy used all his financial, political power to put pressure on the Iranian people, but as long as the nation relied on religious teachings, sanctions would not break the nation's unity," said Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli on Monday, Iran Press reported.

Speaking at a meeting called 'Sanction Against Global Peace in Perspective of Religions' in Tehran, he added that the enemy estimated that Iranian society is going further towards protests, tensions, and the crisis, but contrary to that, thanks to unity and depth of the inner insight in Iran, the rate of protest rallies went down by 38% in the first quarter of this year compared with last year, while the calls for gatherings, in social media, has increased by 100%.

"Iranian's unity has been increased and the threats were not as effective as the US was considering it. Iran sells oil as much as it needs, and the abundance of goods in the country is observing, while the Americans supposed to be famine in the country," Iran's Interior Minister noted.

"The US has tried three times to persuade UN Security Council members to vote against Iran, and even Donald Trump himself personally attended the UN Security Council on one occasion, to sway the vote against Iran but he didn't succeed," Rahmani Fazli stressed.

He also went on to say: "The powers of the world believed that they can topple Syrian regime within six months and they can go to Lebanon (to embark war flame there), but thanks to the regional people's efforts and the political, and logistical supports of Iran, they couldn't make it real."

Iran's Interior Minister further said: "It was also anticipated that they would succeed in Yemen within two months, while last week the United Arab Emirates as the main ally of Saudis pulled out its forces from Yemen and now regional unity in the Middle East and even the world has become more against the US policies."

Rahmani Fazli explained that after the Renaissance, the secularism process for ruling the states started, while even the highest human intellect is not comparable to divine guidance.

Leader and head of Iran's Seminary Alireza Arafi along with religions' representatives have attended at the 'Sanction Against Global Peace in Perspective of Religions' meeting held on July 22.
