Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, a senior aide to the Speaker of the Iranian parliament

A senior aide in international affairs to the Speaker of the Iranian parliament said Tel Aviv's attack on Beirut is a serious miscalculation and predicted that Hezbollah's crushing and crippling response would shock the Israeli regime.

Iran Press/Iran news: The senior aide to Ali Larijani, and former deputy foreign minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in a tweet on Monday night, warned that the Zionist regime will pay a heavy price for its recent attacks and aggression against Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq.

Amir-Abdollahian said preserving the security of the region is our red line, and current regional equations will change to Israel's detriment, and to the benefit of regional countries.

Last Saturday night two Israeli drones violated Lebanon's airspace.

Also on Saturday night, Israeli warplanes bombarded the village of Aqraba south of Damascus, Syria's capital, firing several missiles into the village.

In Iraq meanwhile, there have been four attacks on military bases and installations belonging to the Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF) also known as Hashd ash-Sha?abi.

On Thursday, mainstream American media reported that Israel was behind the recent attacks on some military bases inside Iraq belonging to the Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF) also called Hashd ash-Sha?abi.
