The IRGC has aired audio and video files that shows it is warning a UK warship not to intervene in its mission.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Crops (IRGC) has aired audio and video footage of an IRGC patrol boat warning a UK warship not to interfere in its mission.

According to Iran Press news agency, it is the first time since the IRGC impounded a UK oil tanker, that it releases the audio and video files relating to the incident.

In these video and audio files, IRGC naval forces warn a British Royal Navy warship to stay out of their way, during an operation to seize a UK-flagged oil tanker for violating international laws in the Persian Gulf earlier this month.

The Navy warship in this video file is escorting the oil tanker Stena Impero.

In the brief audio clip, released Monday morning, British warship HMS Montrose (F-236) is heard declaring its position "in the vicinity of international waters" as it escorted the oil tanker Stena Impero.

On 19 July, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the British oil tanker 'Stena Impero' has been impounded near the Strait of Hormuz.
