Iran Press/ Europe: The first meeting of representatives of BRICS member countries' parliaments in 2024 started last Thursday evening in Moscow, a conference that, in addition to the agenda of parliamentary cooperation of the 10 member countries, discussed the pursuit of the issue of stopping the crimes of the Zionist regime.
The meeting was held with the head of the Iran-Russia friendship group with an Iranian parliamentarian, Ebrahim Rezaei, in attendance.
The representatives of BRICS countries, in the meeting, exchanged views on how to help stop the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.
Also, it is reported that the proposals for parliamentary cooperation between the member states are on the agenda of the two-day meeting.
The heads of BRICS parliamentary committees have also held talks with the chairs of both chambers of the Russian Federal Assembly (parliament).
