TEHRAN (IP) - Iran's Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization stated that despite Western pressures and extensive sanctions, the organization has successfully fulfilled the country's needs across various sectors, particularly in healthcare.

Iran PressIran news: Mohammad Eslami Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran on Thursday at the sideline of  Iran's Nuclear Achievements Exhibition stated: We have elevated our position in the world in the nuclear field by relying on indigenous knowledge and the efforts of specialists.

"Iran's nuclear industry has been able to move to the forefront of nuclear knowledge ... In recent years, we have been able to accelerate research and development activities within the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and shorten the process of turning ideas into products," Eslami stressed.

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said: "Fortunately, research at the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran has progressed towards being results-oriented, and we have been able to meet the country's needs in various fields, especially in the healthcare sector, despite extensive sanctions.

" We have carried out numerous joint projects in the fields of health and treatment, and today a MOU was signed between the Atomic Energy Organization and Health Ministry to develop more cooperation, Iran's Vice President said adding      " To achieve results, we need to define and pursue joint mechanisms, and we are ready to establish clinical centers to follow up on projects in collaboration with specialists and experts."
