Tehran (IP) - The Acting President emphasized that the fairness and security of the elections are under supervision in order to properly protect the people's votes.

Iran PressIran news: According to the Iran Press news agency, 'Mohammed Mokhber' was present at Iran's Ministry of Interior on Friday and stated: "Voting measures in Iran by the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Communications, and the Guardian Council are being carried out regularly and up to this moment compared to last week people's presence at the ballot box has been better."

He went on to state that one of the components of religious democracy is the presence of people at the ballot box, and emphasized that the government is holding presidential elections without any interference.

Gholam Mohsen Esmaili, chief of staff of the president, and Isa Zarepour, the minister of communications and information technology, also cast their votes in the interior ministry.
