Iran Press/ Iran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to January 14, 2021, the number of deaths from the coronavirus pandemic in Iran reached 132,026, with 24 more patients killed over the past 24 hours.
Two thousand five hundred thirty-nine new cases of infection with the COVID-19 were found over the past 24 hours, 285 of whom were hospitalized.
The Iranian Health Ministry noted that 6,060,680 patients out of a total of 6,217,320 infected people have recovered or been discharged from hospitals.
It added that some 1,409 COVID-19 patients are in critical conditions and intensive care units.
The Health Ministry also announced that 60,269,896 Iranians had received the first dose, and 53,018,325 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Moreover, 11,974,000 people have also received the third shot as the booster jab.
