Iran Press/ Middle East: Speaking at the Joint Presser with his Lebanese counterpart Abdullah Bou Habib on Friday afternoon, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said: "We had the important meeting with the Republic of Lebanon and we unanimously agree that the chapter of the bilateral cooperation between the two sides should be activated more than ever before."
Iran's Foreign Minister further stressed: "In our meetings with the Lebanese Foreign Minister We expressed the full readiness of Iranian companies to solve the electricity problem in Lebanon."
Amir-Abdollahian then stated: "Lebanon is an important country in the region and any country that interacts with this country will benefit from its advantages."
The election of the president is an internal issue in Lebanon.", added Iranian FM."
Activists and actors can help to strengthen the path of dialogue in Lebanon." stressed Amir-Abdollahian."
Amir-Abdollahian went on to note: "Today we are in Beirut to announce that we will continue our strong support for the Lebanese government, nation and army."
"Iran wants nothing but welfare for Lebanon. Our advice to the Lebanese authorities is to speed up the election of the president. "urged Amir-Abdollahian.
The Iranian Foreign minister finally announced; "I have to go to continue the talks with the minister, but I will have a press conference with the media at 4:00 PM (Lebanon Local time).
