Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Sunday, a senior parliamentarian, Hossein Naghavi Hosseini, said this action carries a number of messages.
He added: “One of the messages was that the Islamic Republic of Iran does not hesitate in responding to any kind of intervention and will have a solid and strong response to it.”
On June 20, Iranian Foreign Minister slammed the recent US violation of Iranian airspace, saying Iran will staunchly defend its skies, land, and waters.

A member of the Iranian parliament's planning, budget and economic commission, Hamid-Reza Haji Babaee said: “The shooting down of the US’ super advanced spy drone by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iranian waters distorted the views on the powers of the US and Iran.”
“The image of America and its presumed power in the minds of the people in the world was shattered when the IRGC shot down the spy drone,” a member of the Iranian Parliament's Article 90 Committee, Amir Khojasteh told IP reporter.
The speaker of the cultural commission of the Iranian parliament (Majlis), Ahmad Azadikhah noted that destroying US spy drone showed Iran’s dominance in defending Iranian waters.
Another member of the Iranian parliament's planning, budget and economic commission, Mohammad Reza Tabesh emphasized that in the matter of defensive capabilities, the US has repeatedly tested Iran’s power and the downing of the super advanced spy drone showed that the US can’t do a damn thing.
On June 20, Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) shot down a US RQ-4 spy drone close to the Iranian province of Hormozgan in the waters of the Persian Gulf, close to Iran's coastline. 104/211/214
