Iran press/America: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani also in the meeting with a number of senior media executives of the United States on Monday stated that Israel's actions in Syria make situation in region worse.
Meanwhile, Iranian President noted that depriving Iran of selling oil is not practical, and also it is very dangerous.
Talking about role of medias, Rouhani said that media ultimate goal in covering news should be boosting peace, security, and progress in human society.
Iranian President emphasised the important, valuable role of public media in transferring the truth to the society, by saying: “the ultimate goal of the media in covering and analysing incidents should be strengthening peace, security and progress in the human society”.

Speaking on Monday during his visit to New York, President Hassan Rouhani responded to a question about a possible meeting with the US President, like that of North Korea and the United States, saying: “Comparing these two is not very accurate.
Since last year, the President of the United States has withdrawn from a very important agreement without any reason and has threatened the people of Iran, imposing sanction on them, and these actions cannot simply be overlooked, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani added.
"North Korea is completely different from Iran", Iranian President Hassan Rouhani concluded.
Rouhani is scheduled to explain Iran’s viewpoints and stances on international developments on Tuesday.
Rouhani would also draw global attention to the consequences of US exit from the international pact known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Meeting with the US foreign policy elites, meeting with UN secretary general are among programs of the Iranian president during his stay in New York.
Rouhani's chief of staff Mahmoud Vaezi, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, deputy foreign minister for political affairs, Majid Takht-e Ravanchi and deputy foreign minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi are accompanying Rouhani on his trip to New York.
