Sana'a (IP) - Yasir al-Houri, the Secretary of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, underscored the significance of the Yemeni army's operations in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab strait, labeling them as a strategic move with far-reaching implications.

Iran Press/ West Asia: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press in Sana'a, Al-Houri elaborated on the pivotal nature of the Yemeni army's engagement in the Red Sea, emphasizing its political gravity. He called upon Arab and Islamic nations bordering the Red Sea to unite in defense of the Palestinian cause against the Zionist regime.

Al-Houri highlighted that Yemen's military endeavors in the Red Sea serve to underscore the nation's political and strategic influence in the region, challenging the dominance of the United States and Britain in these vital waters.

Echoing these sentiments, Mohammad Miftah, political advisor to Yemen's Supreme Political Council, asserted that Yemen's actions in the Red Sea demonstrate that even smaller nations can stand up against American interests.

Furthermore, Abdul Wahab Al-Mahbashi, a member of Yemen's Ansarullah Movement's political office, emphasized that America's direct involvement in the conflict is a testament to the impact of the Yemeni military activities in the Red Sea.

In a bold move to support Gaza's oppressed population, the Yemeni army has intercepted ships destined for Israeli ports in the Red Sea.
