Iran Press/ Iran news: In an interview with Iran Press in Gorgan, Hossein-Ali Shahriari stressed the importance of vaccination to stop COVID transmission and stated: "The government has been asked to import at least 120 million doses of the COVID vaccine in two months."
Referring to the parliament's proposal to curb the new COVID wave in Iran, he noted: "The plans of the Coronavirus Scientific Committee need to be revised as the virus mutates, since there are different views on the use of certain drugs to treat the disease."
He said one of the serious COVID-related issues is that people do not observe health protocols.
He pointed out that it is necessary to follow the health protocols and use face masks even after taking the vaccine jab.
