Iran Press/ West Asia: On Saturday, October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance forces launched a surprise operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" from Gaza (southern Palestine) against the positions of the occupying Quds regime, and this regime, in order to retaliate and compensate for its defeat and stop the resistance operations, closed all the crossings of the Gaza Strip and is bombarding this area.
According to Iran press quoting Sama news agency, two Palestinian journalists, "Ahmad Abu Absa" and "Hannan Ayad", were martyred after the bombardment of the Gaza Strip by the Zionist regime.
According to this report, with the martyrdom of these two journalists, the number of media martyrs increased to 89 since the beginning of the Zionist regime's aggression on the Gaza Strip (October 7).
The Information Office of the Palestinian Authority emphasized that the assassination of journalists and media persons by the Zionist regime is aimed at hiding the truth and trying to scare journalists so that they do not perform their duties and the Palestinian narrative is not published.204
