Iran Press/ Iran news: The University of Tehran used to celebrate the occasion every year, but due to the corona pandemic, a two-year cessation disrupted the routine. But, today, Tuesday, the ceremony was held after two years.
Speaking at the ceremony, the chancellor of Tehran Medical University, Hossein Ghena'ati, said that currently, 1,300 international students were studying at Tehran University, pointing out that it was an excellent opportunity to disseminate Iranian culture and Persian language.
The Chancellor of Tehran University also highlighted 'Science Diplomacy' as one of the macro-policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Mohammad Moghimi said whatever success Iran has achieved, it has shared with other countries, especially with the Islamic countries, and has excluded the achievement from the monopoly of those countries using them as political tools.
During the International Day celebration, several foreign and Iranian students were honored.
