The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), an ethnic armed group in Myanmar, announced on Tuesday that it has taken control of the town of Hsipaw after weeks of fierce fighting, seizing the last military base in the area. Hsipaw, located on the critical highway connecting Mandalay with China, is a key hub for cross-border trade.
