Ali Temizal, head of the Department of Persian Language and Literature at Seljuk University in Konya, stated in his speech: “Cultural, scientific, and political relations between Turks and Persians date back more than two thousand years. Every year, we publish hundreds of articles and dozens of books on the Persian language in Turkey.”
