Italian prosecutors have initiated an investigation into grave abuses committed against Global Sumud Flotilla activists, including drone strikes, unlawful arrests, and brutal mistreatment both at sea and in Israeli detention. Led by Rome prosecutors Lucia Lotti and Stefano Opilio, the case carries serious charges of attempted murder, piracy, and torture, and seeks justice for the victims of these heinous acts, targeting those responsible — whose identities remain unknown.
