Iran Warns Against Snapback Mechanism on Nuclear Deal, Pledges Decisive Response

In a formal letter to the UN Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council, Iran's Permanent Representative to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani, rejected allegations made by the European Troika (France, Germany, and the UK) regarding Tehran’s compliance with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and UN Resolution 2231 and warned against any threats to trigger the "snapback mechanism" of UN sanctions, promising a decisive response.
