Tabriz (IP) - Tabriz city subway, the capital of East Azerbaijan Province, northwestern Iran, has resumed its operation after about three months of closure due to the coronavirus outbreak, by observing social distancing program.

Iran Press/Iran News: All high-touch areas of Tabriz subway, including wagons, elevators, escalators, and stations, have been marked and disinfected every day so that people can use the Metro for their intercity travel with peace of mind.

People have been obliged for the use of masks when entering the city's subway stations.

Iran's Ministry of Health Spokesman announced on Monday that only 45 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives during the past 24 hours, which is the lowest number in weeks.

While observing health protocols, about half of the 31 provinces in Iran have begun to reopen their economies and public life.
