Iran Press/Iran news: Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom issued a statement on Saturday, saying that there are reports that Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky was being transferred to prison despite the deterioration of his physical condition, expressing grave concern over his health. The responsibility for the consequences of the delay in the treatment of the Sheikh and his unlawful detention lies with the Nigerian government.

The statement stressed that it is necessary for the Nigerian government to provide the necessary medical services to Sheikh Zakzaky by ending the current situation.
Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom emphasized: "It is not appropriate for a government that claims to defend freedom and the rights of its citizens, to persecute someone who pursues nothing but a suitable life for the Nigerian state and people."
More than four years have passed since the brutal massacre of Nigerian Shia Muslims on the day of Ashura by the Nigerian Army in December 2015 in the northern city of Zaria. Sadly, Nigeria's military rulers, have once again tightened the callous restrictions on the imprisoned Sheikh Zakzaki and his wife, denying medical treatment to both of them, despite the fact that both are in poor health and desperately need medical attention.
The unsanitary conditions in Kaduna prison have only heightened concerns about the state of health of Sheikh Ebrahim Zakzaki, the Leader of Nigeria's Islamic Movement.
