Saudi Arabia announced on Wednesday that it has temporarily banned traveling to the Muslim holiest sites in the country over the Coronavirus outbreak.

Iran Press/Middle East: Saudi Arabia Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted in a statement that Riyadh has taken steps including temporary pilgrimage travels suspension to Mecca and Medina to prevent the Coronavirus spread.

Granting tourist visas to the people of countries with reported Coronavirus infections has been stopped, according to the statement.

The announcement came amid an increasing number of confirmed Coronavirus cases across the Middle East. There is not any certain report about the status of the Coronavirus in Saudi Arabia.

Political experts believe, given that Saudi Arabia hosts financial official of G20, Riyadh is trying to conceal the stats of infected patients.
