Iran's Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday that Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli was appointed as Iran's ambassador to China.

Iran and China have developed a friendly, economic and strategic relationship. In March 2021, Iran and China signed a 25-year cooperation agreement that have strengthen the relations between the two countries and include "political, strategic, and economic" components.
