Iran Press/Europe: According to the Iran Press news agency from Moscow, the statement of the Grand Mufti of the Muslims of the Asian part of Russia stated: "On my own behalf and behalf of the Muslims of Russia, I express my deepest condolences and sympathies to the people of Lebanon in this difficult time that witnessed the martyrdom of Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of the Hezbollah Movement and other members of Hezbollah."
The statement added: "We, the Russian Muslims, stand in solidarity with our brothers in Lebanon and Palestine and we appreciate their courageous and persistent resistance against the injustice and aggression of the Israeli regime in Lebanon and Palestine who are fighting against the Zionist oppressors."
The Russian cleric added that the blessed resistance in Lebanon and Palestine strengthens the spirit of Islamic unity and the struggle for freedom.
Ashirov added: "We, the Muslims of Russia, are with them in this unfortunate time for the people of Palestine and Lebanon."
He emphasized in the statement that Russian Muslims strongly condemn the criminal actions of the Israeli regime that have led to the escalation of tension in the region, where blood is being shed and innocent people are dying.
We pray for the removal of calamity from the people of Lebanon and Palestine and the unity of the Islamic Ummah in truth and peace.
