Iran Press/ Iran news: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote in a tweet on Wednesday: "Release & transfer of our funds from South Korea are parts of our dignified diplomacy as instructed by the Leader."
In a statement issued on August 10, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the process of unfreezing 6 billion dollars of the Iranian nation's assets blocked by the US in South Korea, announcing that the decision to how to spend the money is up to Iran.
"This deal is another test for the US. On the right track of diplomacy, we keep up efforts to remove sanctions & for the return of all sides to int’l commitments to Iran," Amir-Abdollahian added to the tweet.
The Head of Iran's Central Bank (CBI) announced on Saturday that all of Iran's currency assets blocked in South Korea were released.
