Iran Press/ Iran news: According to Iran Press, Ebrahim Raisi on Sunday, during the handover ceremony of more than 100,000 residential units across the country, and while honoring the government week and the memory of the martyrs Bahoner and Rajaei, said that Government week, of course, the actions and measures of the government should be reported to the dear people, and on the other hand, the views that the people have towards the government and the expectations they have from the government and statesmen can be covered by the society.
Raisi said:
"Housing is one of the serious needs of the country and people in cities and villages. From the beginning of the government, we emphasized that the issue of housing is a priority. The efforts of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and all the cooperating units of all the complexes that help to build housing."
The President continued: "Housing as a driving force of economy that can activate production in the country and start different sectors and create direct and indirect jobs is an important issue and most importantly, it is a serious need of families."
Raisi stated that the share of housing and housing rent is the highest share in the Household basket.
"Building housing in the country or helping or paying for facilities and obtaining permits and providing land will reduce the serious concerns of the people. As an economic driving force, housing is activated wherever it is, and along with it, various products are launched," he said.
The President stated that the work being done today in the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development is a large-scale work and added: "With the cooperation of governors and all officials across the country, steps have been taken, the effects of which are being identified."
Appreciating the efforts of those involved in providing housing for the people and opening more than 100,000 projects of the National Housing Movement in the country, Raisi considered it a source of pride and satisfaction and called on the officials of the housing sector to give this movement with the same strength and power so that those who have no house of their own, they can enjoy proper housing.
The president pointed to the cooperation of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development with other institutions and bodies to accelerate the construction of housing and said that by paying for facilities, reviving worn-out structures, and self-owned projects, they were also able to participate in this movement.
Raisi reminded: "This comprehensive movement was carried out with the cooperation of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, other departments and banks."
Stating that banks play an important role in paying for housing facilities, he emphasized that banks should pay for housing facilities in a special way because these facilities are among serious tasks.
Raisi expressed his hope that with the efforts of all statesmen and officials, the housing construction movement in the country will continue and people will witness an opening in their lives every day.
According to Iran Press, in today's event, 101,278,000 residential units of the National Movement were handed over to applicants in the presence of the president.
