Tehran (IP)- In response to a question whether the president-elect will meet with the US President, Joe Biden, after the lifting of sanctions, he stressed his negative response by saying: "No."

Iran PressIran news: Answering a question on how important the 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and its revival are for Iran and what message he has for the United States and Europe, Ebrahim Raisi said: "Look at how the American and European countries reacted to the JCPOA, the Americans violated it, and the Europeans did not fulfill their obligations."

"I tell the United States that you were obliged to lift all sanctions under the JCPOA, but you did not fulfill your obligations," Raisi said, adding: "Fulfill your commitments, and I urge the Europeans not to succumb to US pressure and live up to their commitments in the nuclear deal."

"All US sanctions should be removed in a verifiable manner, and Washington is obliged to remove the cruel sanctions against the Iranian nation," he said.

On possible talks with the Biden administration, he said: "My suggestion to the Biden administration is to live up to their commitments under the nuclear deal."

"The Iranian people do not have a good memory of the JCPOA because of the US withdrawal from the deal and the failure of the Europeans to fulfill their commitments," Raisi highlighted.

On Tehran-Beijing ties, Raisi said: "Today we have good relations with China, and there are many capacities in the country to improve the relations, and we will do our best to meet the conditions."

He stressed that implementing the 25-year document between Iran and China would definitely be on his administration's agenda.

"Regional issues or Iran's missiles are not negotiable," the president-elect added.
