Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at the administrative meeting in Bushehr province on Friday, Ebrahim Raisi said some European countries did not enjoy many coastal areas, while Iran had 3,700 km of coastline in the whole country, in other words, more than 5000 km of coastline.
Yet, 50% of the GDP of the very European countries is obtained out of the marine economy, Raisi noted and added that Iran's share was just 3 to 4 percent.
The protection of the environment through experts' participation was among the other things that President Raisi emphasized.
