Tehran (IP) - As Iran's Parliament convened on Sunday, April 30, the impeachment of Iran's Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, Reza Fatemi Amin, was at the forefront of discussions.

Iran PressIran news: Supporters and opponents of the impeachment came forward to present their arguments and views on the minister's performance during his term.

One lawmaker, Nasser Mousavi Largani, voiced his support for the impeachment, citing the drastic rise in housing prices and accusing Fatemi Amin of a lack of consultation with experts in his organizational restructuring of the ministry. Largani went on to claim that the minister's actions had caused a disaster in the organizational chart, leading to an environment where criticism was not tolerated.

Another representative, Dehghani, criticized the minister's handling of the automobile industry, stating that car prices had skyrocketed since Fatemi Amin took office and that the minister had not taken any steps to control the situation.

Critics of the minister's performance have also accused him of responsibility for the increased prices of materials, which have disrupted the normal life of Iranian citizens.

The debates are ongoing, with both sides presenting their arguments in support of or against the impeachment of the industry minister.
