The Spokesman for Parliament's Integration Commission announced that next Saturday, the general review of the 7th five-year plan for Iran's economic, social, and cultural development will begin.

Iran PressIran news: In a press brief on June 26, 2023, Mohsen Zanganeh said: The related specialized commissions have ten days to submit their report on the development plan to the Integration Commission.

Earlier, the seventh cultural, social, and economic development plan of the country was presented to the parliament by Ebrahim Raisi, the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The lawmaker Mohsen Zanganeh emphasized: Paying attention to economic growth, curbing inflation, reforming the banking system, providing supporting documents, and being problem-oriented, are positive points of the plan, but it also has weaknesses that must be addressed and resolved.

Zanganeh expressed hope that a good program will be presented to the parliament with the participation of elites and social, cultural, and political activists.

Mohsen Zanganeh in a press conference on Monday highlighted that the development plan is about the events that are going to happen in Iran in the next 5 years and should be based on facts, statistics, and information about the current situation in Iran.

He added: The specialized commissions have 10 days to submit their report regarding the development plan to the consolidation commission.

The spokesperson of the Consolidation Commission also said that paying attention to economic growth, curbing inflation and reforming the banking system, providing supporting documents, being problem-oriented, and attaching related tables are positive points of the development plan, but according to the members of the Consolidation Commission, this program also has weaknesses that must be addressed.
