Iran Press/ Iran news: The open chamber of the Iranian Parliament kicked off on Tuesday morning with Javad Owji the oil minister of the country presenting a report about the gas distribution status quo in the country.
Owji told the lawmakers that the country was experiencing an unprecedented cold season, saying not only the domestic gas was not cut off, but also the country's power plants were supplied with fuel and people did not suffer power shortages.
He expressed hope that thanks to good management to optimize gas consumption, it would be possible to increase the share of export earnings from the country's gas and oil products.
The minister was asked by the representative of Tehran about the feasibility of bringing LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) to car gas stations.
