Tehran (IP) - Referring to the repeated insult to the Holy Qur'an in Sweden, the interim Friday Prayer Leader of Tehran said that Muslim nations should make the Swedish government regret insulting Holy Quran.

Iran PressIran news: An extremist named Selvan Momika, who insulted the Holy Quran in Stockholm on June 28, insulted the Holy Quran yesterday (Thursday) for the second time after obtaining permission from the Swedish police.

According to the Iran Press news agency, Seyyed Ahmad Khatami, the interim Friday Prayer Leader in Tehran, added that if a madman had made a damned thing, we would not have blamed the government of that country, but the Swedish police have supported this action.

Ayatollah Khatami stated: "Muslim nations should make the Swedish government regret doing all this."

The temporary Friday prayer Leader of Tehran said: "I have a special respect for the government and people of Iraq for making the Swedish ambassador flee to the American embassy; they should know that playing with the Holy Quran has a heavy cost."
