Tehran (IP) - The head of the Health, Treatment and Medical Education Commission of Parliament of Iran said that young Iranian scientists had played an important role in producing the coronavirus vaccine.

Iran PressIran News: Hossein Ali Shahriari on Sunday, on the sidelines of the unveiling ceremony of the "Noora" coronavirus vaccine in Tehran, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press, referred to the importance of producing different coronavirus vaccines in Iran, saying: "Fortunately today, 6 Iranian coronavirus vaccines are being produced in Iran."

Shahriari said that having proper medical infrastructures in Iran, whenever there is a need to produce any vaccine, the Iranian elite can make it and there is no need to depend on other countries.

The head of the Health, Treatment and Medical Education Commission of the parliament expressed hope that the production of various vaccines would be a source of honor for Iran and that the country would become one of the coronavirus vaccine exporters in the world.
