Iran's Health Minister:

Tehran (IP) - Last week, US President announced that there were no more medical sanctions against Iran, now the Iran's Health Minister said that the United States was a big liar when he said that it would not impose sanctions on Iran to buy drugs.

Iran PressIran news: Saeed Namaki stated that when the COVID-19 pandemic spread in China, Iran was fully ready to fight the virus.

"Despite sanctions, all COVID-19 patients were treated in Iran," he noted.

Namaki added that Iran's 470 hospitals had been equipped with Oxygen devices. Also, ICU beds were doubled.

Iran has single-handedly produced disinfectants, face masks, and ventilators and exported them.

Also, some medicines such as Remdesivir and Favipiravir had been sanctioned, but now they are being developed in the country, he said.
