Iran Press/Middle East: Israeli forces conducted attacks on at least three sites in the Gaza Strip early on Wednesday, with Palestinian sources saying the occupying regime’s aircraft had also fired missiles at positions in al-Nahda neighborhood, near the international airport in the southern city of Rafah.
The Israeli media claimed that the Israeli artillery had targeted a military base, underground infrastructure, and observation posts belonging to the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement in central Gaza.
Earlier this week, Israeli regime warplanes had attacked the northern Gaza Strip. East Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, has been targeted by Israeli fighter jets. The Israeli army artillery unit also announced that an area east of Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip has been targeted.
These attacks are always carried out under false pretenses.
Thousands of Palestinians have been martyred and injured in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Strip has been under the Israeli land, air, and sea siege since 2006, and its inhabitants face many problems.
The crippling blockade has caused a decline in the standard of living as well as unprecedented levels of unemployment and unrelenting poverty in the Gaza Strip.
